Images and Videos of Solstice
About this Tool
With Solstice, you can use an app on your laptop or mobile device to wirelessly mirror your device's screen to the classroom’s primary display, enabling you to share and control content from your personal device while moving around the room untethered from the classroom lectern. Video and audio played on your device are shared to the room’s primary display and speakers with no loss in fidelity.
When students install the Solstice app on their devices, they can wirelessly connect and share content to the room. Solstice allows multiple simultaneous connections, making it ideal for side-by-side comparison of student work.
Solstice is available in many, but not all, IU classrooms and conference rooms. For a list of rooms at IU that support Solstice, install the Solstice app. You can filter the list of Solstice-enabled rooms by campus and building.
