About this Tool

Multicourse messenger is an external app in Canvas that allows instructors to send a single Canvas message or announcement to more than one class at a time.

Key Features for Teaching and Learning

  • Select courses to receive a message or announcement. Instructors are prompted to select the recipient courses from the list of their active, published courses.
  • Select the recipient. Multicourse messages can be sent to all course members or just selected roles such as "Students" or "Teachers."
