About this Tool
Canvas Notifier is a tool developed at Indiana University for sending notifications to a list of users in Canvas. This tool is only accessible to Canvas administrators, but IU schools and departments can submit requests to use the tool if they need to distribute bulk mailings in Canvas.
Key Features for Teaching and Learning
- Distribute messages in bulk. A copy of the original message is sent to each person on the mailing list.
- Personalize your messages. Messages can be personalized by inserting variables in the message body that are replaced by data in the mailing list, similar to a traditional mail merge.
