New Quizzes in Canvas provides a comprehensive assessment tool for courses. New Quizzes has some new features and question types that are not included in classic Quizzes, but it also lacks some functions that users may rely on from Classic Quizzes. Notably, New Quizzes has Hot Spot, which allows you to include an image in the question and then ask students to answer by clicking on a specific part of the image (the "Hot Spot"). Another new question type is "Ordering," which asks students to put a series in order.

• Access new question types. New Quizzes provides two new question types: Hot Spot and Ordering.
• Duplicate a quiz. You can now create a copy of a quiz.
• Tag and organize questions. You can tag questions with metadata and search for them in a question bank.
• Import and export questions. New Quizzes is QTI compatible, which means you can import and export questions and question banks in QTI format.
