Adobe Audition is a fully featured audio recording and editing tool. With Audition, you can record and edit audio that can be used on its own, such as in a podcast, or be used in other media projects, such as video or other multimedia content. Though Audition is a professional-quality application used by media professionals, Audition can be used by anyone who has an interest in audio. You can connect multiple audio devices to record right to Audition, or you can import files from a variety of other sources, editing and mixing them together. You can also use a variety of audio filters and effects to enhance audio quality, such as removing background noise or enhancing voices.

• Create a podcast. Record multiple audio tracks and combine audio files together into a podcast.
• Clean up recorded lectures. Use Audition to trim, edit, and enhance the audio of recorded lectures -- including effects like noise removal -- before sharing them with students.
• Enhance audio used in video projects. Use Audition in conjunction with Adobe’s video editing tools like Premiere Pro to clean up and add effects to the video’s audio.
