About this Tool
Acrobat Pro DC is an Adobe's comprehensive solution for working with files in portable document format (PDF). Available in versions for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. You can use Acrobat Pro DC to create, edit, review and comment on, or add your digital signature to, any PDF file. Additional features include the ability to create or fill out PDF forms, convert documents to or from PDF format, secure documents with passwords, and more.
Key Features for Teaching and Learning
- Annotate PDF documents. Highlight, strikethrough, edit, and add comments to documents such as student work and research articles.
- Create forms. Create fillable forms as PDF files and distribute them to those who need to fill in the form.
- Make scanned PDFs searchable. Use optical character recognition (OCR) in Acrobat to make images of text in PDFs searchable, selectable, and accessible.
- Organize PDF documents. Organize PDF documents by rotating their orientation, adjusting their page order, combining multiple PDFs into one, and extracting pages from a PDF into multiple files.
- Compare documents. Acrobat can easily compare two PDF documents, such as different drafts of a student’s assignment, to allow faculty to see what revisions have been made.
